Summer will be here before we know it! That's why here at Potts Inn we are planning for our summer workshops for teachers and our programs for children.
Our first workshop is scheduled for February 10 for the Pottsville School District. We'll welcome 45 Arkansas History Teachers from Pottsville on that day. They will leave with valuable lesson plans and ideas for using Potts Inn in their teaching.
Summer Workshops 2012 are scheduled as follows:
Tuesday, June 12, 9 am-12 noon.
Friday, June 22, 9 am-noon.
There will be 2 more dates announced for July 2012.
Attendants will gain 2 hours of Arkansas History Content Inservice and 1 hour of Instructional Strategies Inservice. The cost for each teacher is $15 ($5 if you are a Pope County teacher).
